Essence Wellness was launching iCooone in Aventura and needed to know which message would actually move the needle. I built a 7-day Meta lead-gen test around creative: clean ads testing skin tightening, cellulite reduction and contouring, paired with a Meta instant form. The winning angle was image Stories and Reels. At a $15 CPL against a $180 treatment and a strong patient lifetime value, the unit economics gave the clinic real room to convert qualified enquiries into appointments.
The campaign launches the iCooone treatment for Essence Wellness in Aventura, Florida, targeting Aventura alongside nearby South Florida cities and areas · Hallandale Beach, North Miami Beach, Sunny Isles Beach and Dania Beach among them · chosen as places prospective patients could reasonably travel from. Locations are selected deliberately rather than dropped as a single radius pin. Targeting stays broad with a women focus, allowing the creative to find the relevant prospect inside the local pool rather than narrowing it up front. The objective is qualified leads the clinic can follow up and convert · not reach or engagement.

The account runs on one campaign-budget structure. The screenshot below shows the campaign-level configuration as reported in Ads Manager.
The ad sets separate image, video and Stories/Reels formats so each format is delivered and read on its own, while the campaign budget and lead optimization route delivery. Figures below are read directly from the screenshots · no results beyond what the platform shows here.

Leads are captured in a Meta instant form. The sequence below qualifies and segments the enquiry before contact details are requested, then hands off to the website.

Creative is built as a system: multiple images, headlines and primary text variants inside the same ad structure, so combinations can be served and compared.

Creative leads the strategy. Clean, visually attractive ads test distinct reasons to stop, understand and respond, while campaign structure gives each idea a controlled environment in which to prove itself. Messaging angles were split across skin tightening, cellulite reduction, and contouring/tightening by body area (legs, thighs, face), then run across three formats to isolate messaging, visual presentation and format before those learnings inform the next iteration.
| Message angle | Video | Square images (1:1) | Vertical Stories/Reels (9:16) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skin tightening | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants |
| Cellulite reduction | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants |
| Contouring · legs & thighs | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants |
| Tightening · face & neck | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants |
| Full-body contouring | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants | headline + callout variants |
Each format carries multiple headline and on-image callout variations, so a weak result can be traced to the angle or the format rather than both at once.
What the screenshot period showed
Within the date range visible in the ad-set screenshot, the Images Stories/Reels ad set carried the strongest lead volume and the lowest cost per lead among the active ad sets shown: 12 leads at $22.90, versus 4 leads at $26.64 for video and 2 leads at $54.75 for the other active image set. The four winning vertical creatives shown below ran exclusively in Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels, not feed placements. This is a platform-reported read for that window, not a general claim about format.
Budget sits at the campaign level ($75/day, distributed automatically across the five ad sets). Ad-set minimum daily spend is the lever used to control how that budget is shared · it is a floor per ad set, not a separate budget.
The campaign launched at $75/day across 5 ad sets, with an ad-set minimum spend of $15/day. That floor guaranteed every format variation a comparable 3-day test window instead of letting delivery collapse onto one ad set immediately.
After the test window, ad sets were reviewed on lead volume and cost per lead together · not clicks or CTR alone.
Ad sets that were not producing, including those with zero leads after meaningful spend, were turned off so their share of the campaign budget stopped being spent on unproven variations.
The freed budget was routed to the strongest ad set by raising its minimum daily spend from $15 to $45, letting the validated Stories/Reels vertical creatives keep delivering with the majority of the daily budget behind them.
$75/day is the campaign budget; $15 and $45 are ad-set minimum daily spend limits that shape how that campaign budget is distributed. The $45/day minimum is visible in the ad-set screenshot above.
A read is only useful if it changes the next build. Winners are isolated, then rebuilt in two controlled directions so learning compounds instead of resetting.
Pin down which format and which message angle produced the result · not just the ad name.
Build the next round around the winning combination rather than starting from new guesses.
Hold the visual constant and vary the headline/callout to isolate the message.
Hold the message constant and vary the visual to isolate the creative execution.
Each round narrows the variable set, so scale is built on tested pieces rather than volume of new ideas.
This first set holds the visual format constant · same layout, same offer block, same treatment imagery · while the hook changes. Angles include speed and 360 stimulations a second, fluid retention, visible proof, convenience, no discipline / no routine, and lifestyle framing. Isolating the hook this way makes the message the variable rather than the design.

Version 2 moves the same offer system into video and splits it by treatment area. One general iCooone cut carries the broad message, then four variants call out face, legs, skin and waist specifically. The format is the constant; the body-area callout is the variable, so the read is about which area language earns attention in motion.

This static set tests straightforward treatment-area framing while varying the visual composition. Clean studio-style concepts place the treatment device in view, while outdoor/lifestyle treatments use a softer environmental backdrop. The callout stays direct across face, legs, skin, waist and broad full-body positioning.
These are related static concept variants, not a performance ranking. No outcome is attributed to an individual creative.

These four creatives were the winners carried into the next round and ran exclusively in vertical Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels placements · not feeds. A headline in this environment has one of two jobs: hook attention outright, or make it instantly obvious what the ad is about. These use problem-led callouts · tighter waist, smoother legs, firmer skin · so the person with that specific concern self-identifies before reading anything else. Each one pairs that straightforward headline with a clean, aesthetically simple visual hierarchy: one subject, one message, one action. That combination is what makes them readable in the split second a Story or Reel gets, and it is the intended route from a scroll to a completed instant form.
Winning status reflects the campaign optimization decision for this test. Platform-reported ad-set results are documented above; no unsupported individual-creative metric is assigned here.
